Rush Hour is a community-driven application that gathers traffic information from users and disseminates it across the board to all users as they are reported.
The live map feature displays the current information reported by all users such as accidents, traffic jams, police blocks, floods, and so on. The user reports these incidents at their location with the app and may add emoticons to express an extra element of their thoughts regarding the incident.
Rush Hour also has integration with Facebook which allows the user to share their incident report with location on a map including the incident details right on their Timeline. The user may also view the Facebook pages of other users that have reported incidents.
Following are the main features available in Rush Hour:
•Live map with incident markers that are updated as incidents are reported by users
•Report incident including emoticons
•Facebook integration
•View other incident reporters’ Facebook page
•Mark an alternate location on the map (long press) to report an incident
